meet the team

emily jerrom and allie hawksworth began sewing in their dunedin flat as a way to procrastinate studying for their second year of uni. their tops are created from preloved and thrifted materials, a retro vibe that fits perfectly with their cute 70s flat. all the paddy patterns are created by hand, and each top is made with love (and a little bit of rosé!)

while she’s always had an interest in all things creative and d.i.y, megan didn’t start drawing more until the last couple of years. she really wanted to have an aesthetic feel to her bedroom, but couldn’t find any original and interesting art pieces at an affordable price, so her creations came to existence purely to help avoid mass produced, unsustainable pieces for interior decorating. her illustrations draw inspiration from a love for everything outdoors; it really is art from the heart.

allie hawksworth started blink + scratch halfway through her first year at university, creating polymer clay earrings right off the kitchen table. creating with polymer clay turned into a bit of a love affair, as did making earrings that she knew her friends would love, and wear daily.

made by pip hawksworth out of the copper scraps of mum justine hawksworth’s art, fifteen is a jewellery collection playing on her love of the sea. the turquoise colour is all over the hawksworth house, so it’s really no surprise that pip now wants to wear it on her ears too.

making cards is a cute wee way for cousins alicia hoskin and allie hawksworth to spend time together, making arty things to fill what little time is available between sporting, art and uni commitments. all cards created by rosie jo design are watercolored and written by hand.
